How it Happened
- After a scoreless first inning by both teams, the Black Bears put four runs on the board in the second thanks to a single from Keira Inman and doubles from Kyli Hernandez and Krista Francia.
- A two-run home run from Anna Margetis started off a five-run frame for Maine in the third.
- Saint Joseph's got on the board in the top of the fourth with Maine holding a 9-1 lead after four.
- The Black Bears then went on to add four runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth.
- Maine finished with a season-high 14 hits.
- Anna Margetis had a team-leading three hits on the day, going 3-for-4 with a home run, double, three RBI and three runs scored.
- Kyli Hernandez (2-for-2), Krista Francia (2-for-3), and Caitlyn Fallon (2-for-4) all had multi-hit games with Hernandez and Francia registering doubles.
