How it Happened
- After a scoreless first inning, the teams combined nine runs in the second frame … after the Great Danes plated six runs, the Black Bears responded with three runs of their own with Kaelyn Larkin driving in one and Neve Adams driving in two.
- UAlbany added one more run in third and fourth to hold an 8-3 lead through three and a half before plating three runs in the fifth.
- The Black Bears were unable to cut the deficit in the fifth inning, falling 11-3.
- Maine is now 13-51 in the all-time series with UAlbany.
- Neve Adams went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
- Kaelyn Larkin, Francesca Guerrera and Madison Hand each tallied hits for Maine.
