A LOOK AT THE BLACK BEARS:
Maine looks to remain undefeated at home in conference play as it brings  its 4-0 home league record into Saturday afternoon's showdown. The Black Bears, 7-1 overall at The Pit this season, have won three in a row overall after earning a 70-58 win at Bryant in their last outing. Anne Simon, who missed the Bryant game due to injury, returns to action as she carries a conference leading 17.4 points per game average into play. Simon, who has totaled double-digit scoring in 14 of her last 15 outings, ranks third in the league in rebounding at 7.2 per game and second in steals with 2.5. Overall, Simon ranks 7th on Maine's all-time scoring list with 1,740 points. Adrianna Smith, the reigning America East Player of the Week, has posted double-doubles in six of her last seven with double-digit scoring in 11-straight. Her 16 double-doubles rank third in the nation while she leads the league in conference-only scoring (20.7) and conference-only rebounding (11.8). Smith enters play just 18 points shy of becoming the 22nd player in program history to record 1,000 career points. Maine leads the America East in both conference scoring (66.0 ppg) and conference scoring defense (49.6).

A LOOK AT UNH:
The Wildcats, who enter play 1-9 on the road this season, have lost three of their last four after suffering a 71-68 setback to Bryant on Thursday evening. UNH ranks eighth out of nine teams in the America East in scoring (55.5) and are third in scoring defense, allowing just 57.5 points per game.
