Orono, Maine -- The University of Maine women's basketball team travels to Stonehill for a Tuesday evening match-up beginning at 7 p.m. in the first regular season meeting between the two programs.
Tuesday evening's game will be live streamed at NEC Front Row and can be heard on the Black Bears Sports Network and locally on 92.9 FM.

Orono, ME - The University of Maine women's basketball program was defeated by Quinnipiac in a close contest on Sunday afternoon in Orono, 61-53.
Jaycie Christopher ended with 13 points, three rebounds and a block while Bornemann had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Sarah Talon finished with 10 points and eight rebounds.
A LOOK AT THE BLACK BEARS:
Maine enters play riding a three-game losing skid after a most recent, 61-53, setback at home to Quinnipiac.
Caroline Bornemann leads the Black Bears, with double-digit scoring in four of Maine's first six games to go along with three double-doubles. Bornemann leads two double-digit scorers at 11.8 points per game to rank ninth among America East leaders in the category. Bornemann checks in second in the league at 8.8 rebounds per game and ranks 14th in the country with three double-doubles.
Sarah Talon is adding 11.7 points per game, eighth best in the conference, with a 52.9 percent mark from the floor.
Paula Gallego is adding 9.8 points per game with 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
A LOOK AT STONEHILL:
The Skyhawks are 2-3 on the season and enter playing on a two-game losing skid with recent losses at Bryant and at UNLV. Sharn Hayward leads Stonehill at 16.6 points per game with a 35.7 percent clip from three-point range. Brooke Paquette is adding 12.6 points and a team-high 5.6 assists while Kylie Swider is averaging 10.8 points and leads the team at 7.4 rebounds per game. Stonehill averages 68.2 points per game while allowing 73.0. The Skyhawks have a -6.0 turnover margin as they are averaging 21.2 giveaways per game
SERIES WITH STONEHILL:
This marks Maine's first meeting with Stonehill. Stonehill is the first of two NEC meetings for the Black Bears this season as they will also travel to take on FDU later in the season. Maine enters play 18-5 all-time against current NEC programs (1-0 vs. Saint Francis; 3-0 against Long Island, 14-5 against Central Connecticut State.)
