Orono, Maine – The University of Maine football team will host Stony Brook on Saturday, Sept. 30, 3:30 p.m., presented by Maine Distributors and Bouchard Cleaning & Restoration.
Promotions:
Saturday's game will serve as the annual Military Appreciation game. For more information on how active military personnel, veterans, and their families can request free tickets to Saturday's game, click here. The 2023 UMaine Sports Hall of Fame class will also be recognized at halftime of the game. Fans who show their game ticket at the entrance to the tailgate lot can receive a 50% discount on their tailgate ticket! The new 'Kids Zone', presented by Hannaford, will open one hour prior to kickoff and be open at all home football games this season. The Kids Zone will feature several fun, new entertainment options inside the gates on game day including new interactive inflatables, a face painting and poster making station, yard games, and an autograph session with UMaine teams!
Tickets:
Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at GoBlackBears.com/tickets, by phone at 207.581.BEAR, or in-person at the UMaine Athletics box office located at Alfond Arena. The will call windows at Alfond Stadium will open at 11:30 a.m. on game day.

New this season, all tailgate lots will open four hours prior to kickoff. Lots for Saturday's game will open at 11:30 a.m. For more details on tailgating, please click here.

Auxiliary Services / Entertainment:
Concessions and the Bear Necessities fan shop will be open under normal game day operations. The Pride of Maine Black Bears Marching Band, Dance Team, and Cheer Team will all perform their regularly scheduled activities for Saturday evening's game. Make sure to line the tailgate lots at 1 p.m. for the team's march to Memorial Gym, and return to the area under the 'M' on Memorial Gym at 2 p.m. for the Black Bear March pregame performance by the Pride of Maine Black Bears Marching Band, Dance Team, and Cheer Team.
