Orono, Maine -- The University of Maine is set to officially open the new UMaine Field Hockey Complex with a grand opening ceremony on Friday, Aug. 18.

The ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. and take place at midfield at the UMaine Field Hockey Complex followed by a formal reception.

The event will be livestreamed at http://www.YouTube.Com/MaineBlackBears/live.

UMaine Athletics and Maine Field Hockey would like to extend a special thank you to the Harold Alfond Foundation for the transformative grant that made the UMaine Field Hockey Complex possible.
