Box Score Vestel, NY – The University of Maine baseball team used a four-run eighth inning to move to 10-0 in America East play as they defeated the Bearcats of Binghamton, 5-4.
 
Second Inning: Kevin Gsell got the Bearcats on the board first on the afternoon as he hit a solo home run in the frame.
 
Third Inning: 
Quinn McDaniel tied the game up at 1-1 as he hit his ninth home run of the season, this one being a solo shot to left center.
 
Sixth Inning: Nick Roselli broke the 1-1 tie as he hit a solo home run to left field for the Bearcats.
 
Eighth Inning: John Lumpinski was called on in relief to begin the eighth inning for Binghamton. Thomas Babalis turned in a strong outing against the Black Bears, allowing 1 run across 7 innings of work. He allowed 2 hits, 1 walk, 1 hit batter and struck out 8.
 
Jake Rainess tied the contest up as he singled to right field, scoring

Jeremiah Jenkins broke the eighth inning wide open for the Black Bears as he hit his 12
th home run of the season, this one being a three-run shot to left center.
