Box Score Vestel, NY – The University of Maine baseball team used a four-run eighth inning to move to 10-0 in America East play as they defeated the Bearcats of Binghamton, 5-4.
 
Second Inning: Kevin Gsell got the Bearcats on the board first on the afternoon as he hit a solo home run in the frame.
 
Third Inning: Quinn McDaniel tied the game up at 1-1 as he hit his ninth home run of the season, this one being a solo shot to left center.
 
Sixth Inning: Nick Roselli broke the 1-1 tie as he hit a solo home run to left field for the Bearcats.
 
Eighth Inning: John Lumpinski was called on in relief to begin the eighth inning for Binghamton. Thomas Babalis turned in a strong outing against the Black Bears, allowing 1 run across 7 innings of work. He allowed 2 hits, 1 walk, 1 hit batter and struck out 8.
 
Jake Rainess tied the contest up as he singled to right field, scoring Dylan McNary (FC/SB).
