First Inning: Maine got out to an early 1-0 lead as
Quinn McDaniel (BB/SBx2) scored on a throwing error by the George Mason catcher.

Second Inning: George Mason grabbed the lead at 2-1 as Ryan Archibald hit a two-run home run in the second frame.

Third Inning: Derek Wood scored on a groundout in the bottom of the third.

Fourth Inning: Following walks drawn by
Dean O'Neill and
Matt McElwain; George Mason dipped into their bullpen as they called on Owen Stewart. Tyler Herkey lasted 3 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits, 6 walks and striking out 3.

The Patriots added on in the fourth inning as they plated three more runs, on a wild pitch, single and sacrifice fly.
