ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine athletic department will be highlighting the top moments of the 2021-22 season. The moments will run on all our social media pages over the upcoming weeks.
Mackenzie Wilson took the gold in the hammer throw to lead the Black Bears, while
Lewis Roebuck set the University of Maine school record in the hammer throw at the New England Championships at Bryant University.
Wilson captured first place honors in the hammer with a winning mark of 56.78m.
Roebuck's moved into first on Maine's all-time top-10 list with a school record mark of 59.26m in the hammer, good for fourth place.
