Box Score BOSTON, MA – The University of Maine women's ice hockey team fell in overtime at Boston University, 3-2 on Tuesday evening.

FIRST GOAL (1-0 Maine): The Black Bears got the scoring going early as
Morgan Trimper netted her 5
th of the season. Her goal came as she deflected a shot by
Alyssa Wruble (3) who got it off of a great effort play by
Jen Costa (7) to keep the offensive possession alive.

SECOND GOAL (2-0 Maine): Maine kept the offense going as they netted a power play goal to increase their lead.
Elise Morphy was the Black Bear who netted the score, her first of the season.
Courtney Colarullo (9) and
Ali Beltz (11) picked up the assists.

THIRD GOAL (2-1 BU): The Terriers got into the scoring column in the third period as Clare O'Leary scored her first of the season. Lacey Martin (7) and Alex Allan (4) picked up the assists.

FOURTH GOAL (2-2 BU): With just 1:55 left in the third period, Courtney Correia got her squad back to a tied game as she netted her 13
th of the season. Mackenna Parker (8) picked up the lone assist.

FIFTH GOAL (3-2 BU): Boston University would cap off their comeback by netting the overtime game-winning strike 1:03 into the extra period. Lacey Martin's 5
th of the year would be the deciding score as it was assisted on by Julia Nearis (15) and Nadia Mattivi (8).

Jorden Mattison made 37 saves in the losing effort for the Black Bears.

Maine (12-18-1, 10-13-1 HE) make the return to Alfond Arena for the final series of the regular season on Friday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 19 as the UNH Wildcats come to Orono.
