Poppy Lambert and Chloe Walton Named to All-Tournament Team

Orono, ME - The America East Conference announced that University of Maine back, Poppy Lambert and University of Maine forward, Chloe Walton, were both named to the All-Tournament Team for their performances in the America East Tournament.
Lambert, who was named the Conference Defensive Player of the Year, scored the lone goal for the Black Bears in their 3-1 match against Stanford. That goal was her 22nd of the season, breaking the all-time program record for most goals in a single season. Her 51 points tied her for the all-time Maine record for most points in a single season. Her 13 goals in conference only play tied her for second all-time in America East history. She was also named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team.
Walton, who was named the Conference Offensive Player of the Year, registered two shots in the Semifinal matchup against Stanford. Walton had a strong end to the season as she averaged one goal scored over the final nine games of the season (including playoffs). She was also named to the All-Conference First Team.
