Abby Kraemer, and
Jordane Pinette of the University of Maine women's soccer team were honored with America East postseason accolades as announced by the league on Friday.
Kira Kutzinski (goalkeeper) and
Halle Rogers (defender) were named to the America East All-Conference First and Academic Teams.
Abby Kraemer (forward), earned a spot on the second team after being named to the All-Rookie team a year ago.
Jordane Pinette (forward) snagged a spot on the America East All-Rookie team for her efforts during her first season in Orono.
Kutzinski grabs first team honors after posting a 0.75 goals against average and 0.833 save percentage over her 15 appearances. The senior goalkeeper posted seven shut-outs over her eight wins and five ties.
Rogers finished on the league's first team after anchoring a defense that allowed only 12 goals over 15 total games. The senior defender recorded two goals and one assist over her 1,307 minutes of game play. For the week of October 3, Rogers was named defensive player of the week.
After making an impression and earning All-Rookie accolades in her first season in Orono, Kraemer followed up her freshman season efforts with a second team all-conference nod. The forward currently has five goals (one game winning goal) and one assist for 11 total points over 817 minutes.
Pinette finishes on the All-Rookie team after posting one goal and two assists during her first season in Orono. The freshman garnered five starts, while appearing in all 15 games. She earned Rookie of the Week honors during her second career week of collegiate hockey.
The Black Bears will host the New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlanders in the quarterfinal round of the America East playoffs on Sunday, October 30. Kickoff at Mahaney Diamond is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
