ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine softball team will play a series at the University of Massachusetts Lowell this weekend. The mid three game America East series is scheduled to start this Friday, April 2nd at 1:00 pm.

The Black Bears dropped a doubleheader at Holy Cross on Wednesday.
Keely Clark paces the Maine offense in the box. Her .450 average and nine hits are the most on the team.
Izzy Nieblas has tallied a .318 average with two home runs and six RBI.
Kelby Drews leads the team in home runs with three on the year.

Kyleigh O'Donnell leads the way in the circle for Maine. The senior has a 2.60 ERA over her 29.2 innings pitched. O'Donnell's 25 strikeouts and two wins are both team highs.
Caitlyn Fallon comes into America East with the second most innings pitched (16.0) and second fewest walks (six).

The River Hawks have started the 2021 season 7-7 (3-0 America East), while winning its last five games.

Christina Rizzi has 20 hits, five of which are for extra bases, on the short season. Courtney Cashman leads the way for UMass Lowell with five home runs and 14 RBI. Sarah Ratcliffe is close behind the team leaders with her 18 hits and 12 RBI.

Ryley White has tossed 34 innings and fanned 41 batters. Lovina Capria comes into the weekend with a 3.57 ERA, 31.1 innings, and 27 strikeouts.
