Orono, Maine -- Caroline Strolic and PhilAnn Dixon each set new UMaine school record marks as the Black Bears defeated Colby College, 166-133, on Sunday afternoon in Maine's regular season finale meet.

Strolic registered three individual victories during Sunday's meet, including taking first place in the 100 yard IM with a new UMaine school record mark of 59.49. The new record broke Julie Woodcock's mark of 1:00.31 which had stood since 1979. Strolic also nabbed first place honors in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.73 and touched the wall first in the 200 yard breaststroke with a winning time of 2:25.15.

Dixon won both the one and three meter diving events with an impressive showing on Sunday. Dixon broke her own school record in the one meter with a winning score of 281.90 before tallying a winning mark of 253.93 on the three meter board.

Maggie White dominated the distance events for the Black Bears, scoring victories in both the 1,000 yard freestyle (10:23.18) and the 500 yard free event (5:05.22).

Morgan Bui scored a victory in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 59.20 and was the runner-up in both the 100 yard breaststroke (1:05.93) and the 100 yard IM (1:00.67).

The Black Bears swept the podium in the 100 yard breaststroke as Kayla Loughman led the way with the victory at 1:05.90. Bui was the runner-up in the event while Aubrey St. Pierre placed third at 1:05.68. Loughman also added a third place showing in the 100 yard freestyle at 53.13 while St. Pierre placed second in the 200 yard breaststroke at 2:26.52.

Rebecca Thompson nabbed Maine's 10th individual victory on the afternoon as she took the top honor in the 200 yard freestyle at 1:58.70. Cam Hargraves scored a pair of runner-up finishes, taking second in the 50 freestyle at 24.88 and placing second in the 100 free with a time of 53.09.

Syd Loper was the runner-up in the 200 yard backstroke at 2:13.39 while Lindsay Mathews added third place finishes in both the 1000 yard freestyle (11:11.10) and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:34.03).

Ainslie Boswell placed third in the 500 freestyle at 5:25.41 while Emily Ketch added a third place finish in the 100 yard butterfly (1:01.62).

The team of Strolic, Bui, Sarah Mansfield, and Loughman teamed up to take the top spot in the 200 yard medley relay with a winning time of 1:48.80. Loughman, Mansfield, Hargraves and Morgan Oehler were the runners-up in the 200 yard freestyle relay at 1:38.80.
