PREVIEW: Women's Swim Opens up America East Action Against Vermont

ORONO, ME - The University of Maine women's swim and dive team is set to open up America East action as the Vermont Catamounts come to Orono for a meet on Saturday, Nov. 6.

For UMaine, they are coming off of a opening weekend in which they played host to Maine Maritime for the first home Meet in 720 days. The Black Bears women's team took first place in every event they competed in on the day.
Top Performers included:
PhilAnn Dixon, who scored a 258 in the 3-meter dive and a 260.48 in the 1-meter dive.
Kayla Loughman, who had two first places in individual races and two second places in team races.
Morgan Bui, who had two first places and a second place in individual races.
Rebecca Thompson, who had two first places in individual races and a second place in a team race.
Aubrey St. Pierre, who had two first places in individual races and a second place in a team race.

For Vermont, they are off to a 1-2 start in meets, with a 1-1 record in conference meets. Their latest meet was a 173-126 loss at UNH. Ella Church, Madison Supple and Hally Laney were among the best individual performers for the Catamounts.

The meet is scheduled to begin at 11:00 A.M. at Wallace Pool.
