           Maine ended the season as the 7-seed in the Women Hockey East standings.
           In their most recent game against Vermont, they battled for a 2-2 tie.

About the Terriers
           Finished the season as the 2-seed in the Hockey East standings and as the #8 ranked team in the nation.
           Being ranked second in Hockey East is their highest seeding since 2015 in the Playoffs.
           Most recently had a sweep of UConn, 6-2 and 3-1.
           Had 7 different goal scorers on the weekend, where Jesse Compher and Nara Elia each scored a pair on the weekend.
           Corinne Schroeder picked up 52 saves on the weekend series.

History against Boston University
           The Terriers held the regular season matchup at a 2-0-1 record heading into the playoffs.
           Back on Oct. 20, 2019, the Terriers took the victory 3-1 in Alfond Arena.
           At Walter Brown Arena, the Black Bears fell 3-2 in the first game and battled for a draw in the third game, 3-3.
           The last time these two teams met in the playoffs was in 2018, where the Black Bears earned their first and only series win in the Hockey East Playoffs, advancing to the semi-finals.
