Dobson, Stevens Earn Top-10 Rankings from CFL Scouting Bureau

ORONO, Maine -- Senior offensive lineman Liam Dobson and senior linebacker Deshawn Stevens each earned Top-10 rankings in the first edition of the Canadian Football League (CFL) Scouting Bureau's Top-20 prospects list. The list ranks the Top-20 Canadian born players who are eligible for the 2021 CFL Draft.

Dobson, the highest rated player from the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) on the list, checked in at No. 5 while Stevens, the second-highest rated FCS player on the list, was tabbed at No. 9.

The CFL Scouting Bureau, comprised of CFL scouts, as well as player personnel directors and general managers from the league's nine clubs, releases its rankings three times each year: in the fall, winter and spring.

Dobson continues to rack up the accolades in 2020 after earlier being named to the 2020 Stats Perform Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Preseason All-America Second Team and also earning a spot on the HERO Sports Preseason All-American Third Team and a selection to Phil Steele's 2020 Preseason All-CAA First Team.

Stevens, a HERO Sports Preseason All-American Second Team honoree, also continues to add to his 2020 preseason accolade list after previously joining Dobson as a member of Phil Steele's 2020 Preseason All-CAA First Team.
