About the Black Bears
           Maine is coming off of a home stand where they went 1-0-1 against both Holy Cross and Merrimack.
           Most recently, Maine defeated the Warriors of Merrimack 2-1 on Saturday, January 18 after tying them 1-1 on Friday, January 17.

Celine Tedenby (8) scored the lone goal for Maine in the Friday contest.

Ida Kuoppala (9,10) scored both goals for Maine in the winning contest, the game-tying and the short-handed game-winning goal.
           Kuoppala was also named Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week for her performance.

Carly Jackson finished the weekend with 54 saves on three goals against.

About the Huskies
           Coming off a weekend where they dropped both games of the weekend against Northeastern, 4-0 and 3-0.
           Their last win came on Friday, January 10 when they defeated New Hampshire 4-0.
           Danika Pasqua and Natalie Snodgrass both scored for the Huskies, while Catherine Crawley scored a pair of goals.
           Morgan Fisher ended with a 30 save shutout in the victory.

History against UConn
           The two teams met back on November 17, 2019 at Alfond Arena, where the Huskies came out on top, 3-2.

           Savannah Bouzide, Natalie Snodgrass and Catherine Crawley scored for the Huskies.
