ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine athletic department will be highlighting the top moments of the 2018-19 season. The moments will run throughout the month of July, while a single sport will be featured each week day.
University of Maine freshman
James Olivier captured the USATF U20 800m championship on Sunday, June 23 at the USATF U20 National Championships, held in Miramar, Florida.
Olivier completed the event with a time of 1:50.67, good for first place among the eight finalists. His title and final time earned him his first berth on Team USA.
Representing Team USA, Olivier placed sixth in the U20 Pan American 800m Championship on Saturday, July 21 with a time of 1:54.21.
