ORONO, Maine – As part of Homecoming Weekend in Orono, the University of Maine is thrilled to welcome Grizzly Entertainment to campus to display two, breathtaking customized drone light shows in the sky over campus to celebrate UMaine, presented by Bangor Savings Bank.

The shows, designed specifically to celebrate Homecoming Weekend and the traditions of UMaine, will include over 400 drones and will be the largest drone light show ever held in the state of Maine. The drone light shows are free and do not require a game ticket to attend.

When Are The Drone Shows Happening?

• Friday, Oct. 24 - 5:50 p.m. - University Mall
• Saturday, Oct. 25 - 5:50 p.m. - Alfond Stadium

Where's the Best Place to Watch?

• Friday: Head to the University Mall, located in front of Fogler Library
• Saturday: Head to the main grandstand or Morse Field surface at Alfond Stadium
• Position yourself with a clear, open view of the sky in these areas

What Should You Bring?

• Layers or a jacket
• Blanket, Camping Chair, or mat if you intend to sit on the grass or ground surface

• Plan to arrive 30-60 minutes early to secure parking and a good spot to observe the show(s)
