ORONO, Maine – Maine Athletics has unveiled an all-new digital student ticketing system to help further enhance the overall student game day experience.
New this season, all full-time and part-time UMaine undergraduate and graduate students will be eligible to request one (1) FREE digital ticket to each UMaine ticketed sporting event including football, men's ice hockey, women's ice hockey, men's basketball, and women's basketball. All other varsity sports are free admission to all patrons.
The UMaine student ticket portal will open each Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m. At that time, students will have the opportunity to log into their student account and reserve seats for games taking place over the next nine day period. The student ticket portal will remain open until 48 hours prior to the start of the event or until all student tickets for that event have been reserved. When available, students may still claim tickets at the gates to each event by presenting a valid MaineCard ID. Students will have the option to return a reserved ticket up to 24 hours prior to the start of the event to avoid a penalty to their account.
How to reserve a student ticket:
- Visit GoBlackBears.com/tickets
- Click on the "Student Tickets" tab.
- Login using your UMaine student login and password.
- Once logged in, click on 'Maine Athletics Student Tickets'.
- Click the sport you're searching for.
- Click on the game you're interested in attending and then click 'Buy Now'.
- Follow all remaining prompts to checkout and finalize your selection by clicking 'Place Order'.
- To download your ticket, enter your mobile phone number where prompted. Your ticket will also be emailed to your @maine.edu email address.
- Once you receive your ticket, you are encouraged to add your ticket to your Google or Apple wallet.
