OVERVIEW:
A LOOK AT THE BLACK BEARS:
Maine looks to snap a two-game losing skid after dropping a pair of meetings with Ivy League opponents Harvard and, most recently, on the road at Dartmouth. Anne Simon, averaging a team-best 11.0 points per game in Maine's last two outings, posted a career-high 13 points against Harvard. Dor Saar led Maine with 10 points, her 31st double-digit performance of her career, at Dartmouth.

Saar ranks in the top-20 among America East leaders in scoring (9.1 - 20th) and assists (4.1 - fifth) as she enters play as the America East's active leader in career assists with 299 helpers. Saar ranks fifth among America East leaders in both 3-point percentage (27.2) and 3-point field goals made per game (2.0). Maeve Carroll has registered five or more rebounds in six games this season, including each of her last three outings, and enters ranked ninth in the conference at 6.3 rebounds per game. Carroll also checks in second on Maine's active scoring list at 7.4 points per game and leads the way for the Black Bears with a 47.0 percent mark from the floor. Anne Simon is adding 7.0 points, with double-digits in two of her last three outings. Simon is averaging 11.0 points per game in her last three games.

Maine's 268 attempts from 3-point range rank first in the conference and sixth in the nation. The Black Bears are second in America East in 3-point field goals made per game (6.8) and 36th nationally with a total of 75 triples converted on the season. Maine is third among America East leaders with just 13.9 turnovers per contest.

A LOOK AT GREEN BAY:
The Phoenix, preseason co-favorites to win the Horizon League title, carry their 2-0 road record into Bangor. Green Bay has played three-straight ranked opponents, scoring a win over then No. 18 Syracuse sandwiched between losses to No. 10 Mississippi State and No 16 DePaul. Frankie Wurtz leads the Phoenix against Maine, entering ranked third in the Horizon League at 16.4 points per game. Wurtz ranks third in the league in field goal percentage (45.5) and 3-point field goal percentage (40.7). Wurtz, the Phoenix leading rebounder (6.2), is one of three Green Bay players averaging double-digit scoring efforts as she is joined by Caitlyn Hibner (13.8) and Karly Murphy (10.0) at the top of the Phoenix scoring list.

Green Bay has been impressive on the offense end of the court through its first nine games this season. The Phoenix lead the Horizon League in scoring, averaging 74.1 points per game, with a league-leading 45.8 percent mark from the floor. Like Maine, the Phoenix do a great job taking care of the ball, entering ranked at the top of their league and 40th nationally at 13.7 turnovers per game. Green Bay ranks in the top-30 nationally in assists (16.8) and leads the Horizon with 117 free throw makes on the year.

SERIES WITH GREEN BAY:
Maine and Green Bay square off for the sixth time in history with the Phoenix holding a 1-4 advantage in the all-time series. The Phoenix have won three-straight in the series, including a 70-39 decision a year ago in Green Bay. Maine's lone win against the Phoenix came on Dec. 5, 2003, a 76-73 road decision. Maine is 0-2 at home against Green Bay. The Phoenix make their first trip to Maine since 2013-14, a season which saw the two teams play a home-and-home series in the same year. Green Bay captured a 66-49 victory in its last trip to Maine on Nov. 30, 2013. The two teams first met on Nov. 29, 1991 when Green Bay escaped with a 58-57 victory in Maine.
