Maine jumped out to the early lead, scoring at the 10:14 mark in the first period. Loryn Porter ended the first period with 11 saves.

Vendula Pribylova kept the offense going for the Black Bears, scoring her fourth goal of the season at the 6:12 mark into the second period. Tereza Vanisova (6) dropped a pass back to Liga Miljone (7), whose shot led to the big rebound right to the stick of Pribylova.

The Huskies would fight back as Veronika Pettey netted her fourth of the season, beating Porter off the rebound as she collapsed in front of the net. Matti Hartman (3) and Paige Capistran (5) picked up assists on the play.

With 1:09 left in the period, Chloe Aurard scores her seventh goal of the season, her second short-handed goal of the season, as she tied the game at 2-2. Alina Mueller (16) and Skylar Fontaine (1) picked up assists on the play.

The third period was all about the goalies, who were both perfect in the third. Aerin Frankel recorded 10 saves in the period, while Loryn Porter had 14 saves in the period.

As the game went to overtime, the Black Bears spent little time giving the Huskies their second loss of the season. Just 38 seconds into the period, Celine Tedenby gathered the rebound from Taylor Leech (6) shot, set up by Tereza Vanisova's (7) steal, giving Maine the overtime victory. It was Tedenby's fifth goal of the season.

Loryn Porter finished with 50 saves in the performance, leading Maine to their sixth victory of the season.

Maine, now 6-6-2, 4-5-1 in Hockey East, will travel to Hanover, NH, as they take on Dartmouth College.
