ORONO, Maine- The Women's Ice Hockey team will matchup against the Providence College Friars on Sunday, Jan. 29th, for the annual 'Skating Strides Against Breast Cancer Game', presented by FairPoint Communications.

The event is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer charities. Funds raised will go to the The Patrick Dempsey Center for Hope & Healing. The team will be wearing special pink jerseys, which will be auctioned off on game day. Any remaining jerseys will be available for purchase on GoBlackBears.com.

Maine will also face the Friars on Saturday, Jan. 28th. Both games will be at 2 p.m., at Alfond Arena.
