Kendra Ridley's 11th minute goal was enough to lift the Black Bear's to victory over UMass-Lowell 1-0 on Thursday evening, winning their second game in a row via shutout and improving to 6-3-0 overall, 2-0-0 in conference.
Ridley's goal came off a corner kick from Vivian Beil in the 10:55 into the first half that went across the box and met the head of Ridley and found itself in the upper-left corner of the goal.Â

Samantha Cobotic made her second straight start of the season and saved all 5 shots on goal from UML, getting her second straight shutout, Maine's 5th shutout of the year. Her record is 2-0-0 on the season.Â
