2009: Appeared in five games for the Black Bears … picked up an assist against Brown (10/11) … Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll ...  A Maine Scholar-Athlete Award Winner...Named to the NFHCA DI National Academic Squad.

2008: Saw action in six games...dished out an assist against Bryant ( 9/20)...named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll...a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner...named to the National Field Hockey Coaches’ Division I National Academic Squad.

2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt...named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Academic Squad...named a Maine Academic “Rising Star” and to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Before Maine: Captain of the 2005 Indoor Ontario Provincial Team... member of the Canadian Rep Team for the FIH World Festival in 2002... also a standout in track and field.

Personal: Born March 17, 1989...daughter of Cheryl and Louis Mendonca...plans to major in kinesiology and physical education...her father, Louis, served as an assistant coach for the Black Bears in 2005 and 2006, and was an assistant for the Canadian Men’s Olympic Team in the Beijing Olympics.
