Football Announces Camp Schedule for 2026

Annual Meet the Bears Event is set for Sunday, August 16 from 3-5:30 PM
Orono, Maine -- The University of Maine football program has announced their camp schedule for the 2026 season.
The Black Bears are set to report on Monday, July 27 before commencing practices on Tuesday, July 28. The Black Bears will practice five times a week throughout camp and will be holding two scrimmages, one on Aug. 5 at 3:30 PM and the other on Aug. 10 at 6 PM.
The annual Meet the Bears event is set to take place on Sunday, Aug. 16 from 3-5:30 PM. All fans are invited to attend and meet your 2026 Maine Football Team. Fans are asked to park in the parking lot nearest the New Balance Soccer Complex and enter through the north end zone.
The 2026 regular season will begin on Thursday, Aug. 27 as the Black Bears travel to Towson for their CAA and season opener. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 6 PM.
