ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine men's ice hockey team has earned a first-round bye in the 2026 Men's Hockey East Tournament and will travel to face Boston College on Friday, March 13 at Conte Forum.

The single elimination game between the fifth-seeded Black Bears and fourth-seeded Eagles is set for a 7 p.m. puck drop. The contest will air live on NESN and will stream on ESPN+ with an international stream available via Hockey East/Stretch Internet.

This marks the first meeting between Maine and Boston College in the Hockey East playoffs since the 2012 championship game.
