Frank Djurasevic signs AHL deal with Toronto Marlies

Djurasevic signs a two-year AHL contract.

ORONO, Maine – Defenseman Frank Djurasevic of the University of Maine men's ice hockey team has signed a two-year contract with the American Hockey League's (AHL) Toronto Marlies beginning in the 2026-27 season, as announced on Saturday morning by the organization.

Djurasevic will join the Marlies immediately on an Amateur Tryout (ATO) for the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign

Djurasevic, an alternate captain this season as a junior, recorded a career-high 61 blocks and had 14 points off of five goals and nine assists this year. The New Rochelle, N.Y. native finished his collegiate career with 52 points on 16 goals and 36 assists, with 42 of those points coming in his two seasons as a Black Bear. He was the Hockey East Defender of the Month once and a two-time Hockey East Defender of the Week.
