AMESBURY, Mass. – University of Maine men's ice hockey junior Frank Djurasevic has been named the Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.

Djurasevic helped Maine to a 1-0-1 record at #6 Denver this past weekend. The New Rochelle, N.Y. native led the nation with eight blocked shots. Djurasevic also scored the game-tying goal with 2:27 to play on Saturday night to force overtime. The alternate captain finished the weekend with four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating.

This marks the second career Defender of the Week honor for Djurasevic.
