ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine men's ice hockey 2025 Hockey East Tournament quarterfinal game has been announced as a 6 p.m. puck drop on Saturday, March 15 at Alfond Arena. 
 
The second-seeded Black Bears will take on a to-be-determined opponent for a spot in the tournament semifinal. Maine earned the program's highest finish in the Army ROTC Hockey East Standings since 2006, when the Black Bears were also the two seed. The game will stream live on ESPN+ with an international stream available via Hockey East/Stretch Internet.

The 2025 Hockey East Men's Championship weekend is set for Thursday and Friday, March 20-21, 2025 at the TD Garden in Boston.

Men's Hockey East Tournament Quarterfinal (March 15 - Alfond Arena)
Tickets for Maine's 6 p.m. quarterfinal round game on March 15 at Alfond Arena are sold out but additional tickets may be released on the day of the game one hour before puck drop. They will be available in person only at the Alfond Arena Ticket Office.

Men's Hockey East Championship (March 20-21 - TD Garden)
The men's semifinals and finals will be hosted at the TD Garden in Boston on Thursday, Mar. 20 and Friday, Fri. 21. Tickets for those games are on sale now and we recommend purchasing in advance. For information and details on how to purchase tickets now, PLEASE CLICK HERE.
