OCALA, Fla. --
Finn Devers set a new school-record in the 200-yard freestyle on day two of the CSCAA National Invitational Championship on Friday afternoon.
Devers posted the school-record mark of 1:38.58 in the B final of the 200-yard freestyle, finishing 13th overall in the event.
Joey Stauss, Devers,
Julian LaPietra, and
Matthew Bendoraitis teamed up to take 18th in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a final time of 6:45.71.
Bendoraitis,
Nate Teerlinck,
Cam Watelet, and LaPietra took 19th in the 200-yard medley in 1:31.09.
Earlier in the day, Watelet posted the 45th best time in the 100-yard backstroke at 51.08 while Teerlinck was 48th in the event at 56.97.
Stauss missed qualifying for the finals of the 100-yard butterfly by just .03 as he came home 21st in the event with a time of 48.17.
