ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine men's swimming & diving program set four more school records on day two of the America East Championships. Through two days of action, the Black Bears sit in fourth place with 167 points.
Joey Stauss led the way on day two for Maine as he was a part of two school record performances. Stauss took the silver medal in the 200-yard IM with school-record time of 1:49.11.
Finn Devers added a 10th place showing in the 200-im at 1:52.02.
Cam Watelet, who set the school record in the 50-yard freestyle prelim before breaking his own mark shortly after in the finals of the event, took the bronze in the 50-free with a school-record mark of 19.97.
Julian LaPietra took 10th in the 50-free at 20.62.
Kaden Kilger placed 10th in the 500-yard freestyle with a new school record time of 4:33.93.
Maine's team of Devers, Watelet, Stauss, and LaPietra teamed up to take silver in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a school-record time of 1:20.68.
Jeremiah Small paced Maine on the boards, placing 12th in the 3-meter at 208.85.
