Oxford, Ohio – The University of Maine basketball team fell at Miami (OH) on Saturday afternoon, 93-61.

After falling behind by as many as 23 points in the first half, the Black Bears cut the deficit in half with just under two minutes to go in the first half.

Miami ended the half on a 10-4 run as they took a 48-30 lead into the break.

Mekhi Gray led the way for Maine as he had seven points and four rebounds in 13 minutes of work.

TJ Biel and
Keelan Steele both had six points while
Caleb Crawford had a pair of steals off the bench.

Miami came away with the victory on afternoon, 93-61.

- Steele tied his career-high with 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting.
- Gray had nine points while Crawford had eight points and three steals.
- Logan Carey had a team-high four assists.
- Maine forced 15 turnovers.
