ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine women's soccer team will take on Vermont in the America East Championship title game at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9 at Virtue Field.

The fourth-seeded Black Bears earned a third consecutive championship game bid by upsetting top-seeded Binghamton, 1-0, in double overtime on Thursday night in New York. The second-seeded Catamounts earned a berth in the title game by taking down Bryant, 3-1.

Maine is playing in its third consecutive title game, becoming the first America East team since Hartford (2014-16) to advance to three consecutive title games.

The match – which is the first-ever championship game meeting between Maine and Vermont – will stream live on ESPN+.
