ORONO, Maine – After winning the program's third consecutive America East Women's Soccer Championship and earning an automatic bid, the University of Maine will now travel to Orlando to face Central Florida as announced by the NCAA selection committee on Monday afternoon.

The Black Bears will face the seventh-seeded Knights in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14 at the UCF Soccer Complex.

Maine defeated Vermont in a penalty kicks, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon to become the first America East team to win three consecutive titles since Boston University won five in a row (2007-11). The Black Bears will enter the tournament at 6-7-4 overall after yesterday's tie. Maine is unbeaten in the last four games and has gone 4-1-2 over the last seven games.

UCF fell to No. 12 Colorado in the quarterfinal round of the Big 12 Tournament but earned at-large bid and enter Friday's game at 11-3-5 overall.
