KINGSTON, R.I. -- The University of Maine men's swimming & diving team stands in fourth place with 261 points after two days of competition at the Harold Anderson Invitational.
Joey Stauss and
Julian LaPietra guided Maine on day two, each posting a runner-up finish. Stauss finished second in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:49.53 while LaPietra placed second in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 20.92.
On the boards,
Gray Miller led Maine with a third place showing in the 1-meter with a score of 280.90. Miller was followed by
Jeremiah Small who placed fourth in the event at 272.40.Â
In the distance event,
Jackson White led Maine by placing ninth in the 500-yard freestyle at 4:44.61. White was followed closely by
Carter Bartolini who finished 10th at 4:44.80.
