AMESBURY, Mass. – University of Maine men's ice hockey forward Miguel Marques has been named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.
 
Marques had a four-point game in Maine's win over Vermont on Friday night, racking up one goal and three assists. He earned the primary assist on the game-winning goal – the first of three primary assists on the night – and scored his own goal in the second period.
 
The Prince George, British Columbia native finished the weekend with three shots on goal and a plus-3 rating. This marks the first career weekly honor for Marques.
