Holt earns Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week honors

The Grand Forks, N.D. native posted two multi-assist games over the weekend.

AMESBURY, Mass. – University of Maine senior Brandon Holt has been named the Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league office.

The Grand Forks, N.D. native posted two multi-assist games over the weekend, recording two on Friday night and two on Saturday night in Maine's come-from-behind 3-2 overtime victory over Colgate. Holt's four helpers led all Hockey East players on the weekend and also tied for the league lead in points. The captain also had four shots and a plus-2 rating in the non-conference weekend.

This marks the third career Defender of the Week honor for Holt, who was named Defender of the Week once in each of the last two seasons.
