Max Scott scored 33 seconds into overtime to lift the #10 University of Maine men's ice hockey team to a 3-2 win over Colgate on Saturday night at a sold-out Alfond Arena.

Colgate jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, scoring on the power-play and adding an even-strength tally. Just over a minute into the second period,
Thomas Freel scored on the power play to make it one-goal game at the second intermission.

Two minutes into the third period,
Justin Poirier pounced on a loose puck for his fifth goal of the season. In overtime, Scott took a puck from
Charlie Russell on the halfwall, broke to the net and scored his first goal as a Black Bear for the win.
