Scott Woods recorded the first multi-touchdown game by a skills position this season for Maine as he had a 5-103-2 receiving line.

He has thrown for back-to-back 300+ yards, the first time in his career and first time he had ever thrown for 300 yards or more in a game as a Black Bear, along with five touchdowns to no interceptions. He has completed 71 consecutive passes without throwing an interception, dating back to William & Mary on Sept. 6.

This starting group only allowed one sack last week as two of the three sacks a week ago were intentional grounding calls. The offensive line as a whole has only allowed 13 sacks in six games, two games being played against FBS programs.

Led by a pair of All-CAA Preseason Honorable Mentions in Jamaree Gibson (CB) and Devin Vaught (FS), the Black Bears broke up 31 passes a season ago and generated 10 interceptions, three of which came from Vaught. Vaught was a big performer on week one as he set a new career-high with 8 solo tackles and is coming off of a game against Stonehill in which he broke up a pair of passes.
