Hanover, NH - The University of Maine baseball team was defeated by Dartmouth on Tuesday evening.
First Pitch: 3 P.M. (18-11 Dartmouth)
First Inning: Dartmouth got out to an early 3-0 lead in the opening frame.
Second Inning: Maine scored five runs in the frame on three home runs.
Dean O'Neill and
Zach Martin got it started with back-to-back solo home runs to begin the frame, both of which went to left field. The home runs were their fifth and third home runs of the season, respectively.
Jeremiah Jenkins capped off the scoring in the frame as he hit a three-run home run to right field, his 20th of the season, scoring
