Orono, ME - The University of Maine baseball program was defeated by Bryant on Friday afternoon.
First Pitch: 3:05 P.M. (10-4 Bryant)
Third Inning: Maine got the scoring going as they plated two runs in the frame, one an RBI single by
Connor Goodman to center field, scoring
Colin Plante (1B).
Jake Marquez brought home the second run of the frame as he doubled down the left field line, scoring
Jeremiah Jenkins (1B).
Fourth Inning: Bryant brought home their first run of the game on a solo home run to left field.
Sixth Inning: Bryant plated six runs in the frame.
Colton Carson was called on with two outs and no one on base in the sixth frame.
Geoff Mosseau allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, 2 walks and 5 strikeouts in his 5 and ⅔ innings of work.
Seventh Inning: Marquez brought home his second run of the day on a double to left field, scoring Jenkins (1B).
Eighth Inning: Bryant hit a three-run home run to center field.
Carson allowed 6 runs (5 earned) on 5 hits, 2 walks and 1 hit batter.
