Biography

2024: Appeared in 27 games, starting in 24 as a Freshmen for the Black Bears. He slashed .244/.368/.337 with 1 home run, 5 doubles and 7 RBI's across his 86 at-bats. Had a .969 fielding% as he split time between catcher, third base and second base. Hit his first collegiate home run on 4/23 against Merrimack.

BEFORE MAINE: Perfect Game ranked Burns as the 5th third baseman in Massachusetts, and 44th player overall.

Coach Derba on Burns: A cornerstone left handed stick, that can play a multitude of positions. I expect Will to have an impact on our offense this year or next.
