How it Happened
- Krista Francia and Katie Jo Moery had back-to-back singles in the top of the first to set up runners on second and third with two outs but Maine couldn't score.
- UAlbany pushed two runs across in the bottom of the first followed by single runs in the second and third … the Great Danes had another two-run frame in the fourth to take a 6-0 lead.
- Moery singled again in the fourth inning but got left on base.
- Katie Jo Moery went 2-for-3 for her eighth multi-hit game of the season.
- Krista Francia and Keira Inman both wen 1-for-3.
- Isabelle True started, going 3.0 innings while giving up six runs on six hits … Caitlyn Fallon pitched 3.0 innings of two-hit, scoreless relief.
- Maine will host the 2024 America East Softball Championship at the UMaine Softball Complex, May 8-11.
