Orono, Maine -- For the 10th time in program history, the University of Maine women's basketball team captured the America East Championship to earn the automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament. The Black Bears are calling on YOU to help support the 'Claim Your Crown' initiative to help the Black Bears purchase their 2024 championship rings.

Maine Athletics asks for your help to recognize the 2024 Black Bears with support to fund the championship ring campaign. All funds raised will go directly towards recognizing the Maine women's basketball roster, coaches, and support staff for their accomplishments this season.

Championship rings will be cherished by the team for years to come, serving as a constant source of motivation and pride. They will also become tangible goals for new recruits, who will know that it is possible to earn one.

Your gift will support the Claim Your Crown Fund. The NOVUS Claim Your Crown Fund was established by former baseball student-athletes, and brothers, Nicolas P. Bernardo '14 and Garrett M. Bernardo '15 as a way to give back to their alma mater and help provide funds to purchase championship memorabilia for Maine student-athletes.
