AMESBURY, Mass. – University of Maine men's hockey forward
Bradly Nadeau has been named to the Hockey East Pro-Ambitions All-Rookie team, as announced on Wednesday by the conference office.

Nadeau recorded 31 points and 12 goals in conference play, good for seventh overall in both categories. Among freshmen, Nadeau was fourth in goals, tied fourth in assists (19) and fifth in points. His three game-winning goals in Hockey East games tied for fourth overall and second among rookies. Among first-year Hockey East players, Nadeau's 70 shot on goal ranks tied for fourth and 10th among all players while his 105 total shots on goal is eighth in the league. His plus-15 rating in conference games is tied for sixth and his plus-20 mark in all contests is ninth overall.

Overall on the year, Nadeau leads Maine in goals (17) and is tied for the team lead in points (41). He is tied 20th in the country and sixth among rookies with his 41 points. His four game-winning goals on the year is tied for third nationally among freshmen.

The St-François-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick native recorded his first career hat trick on Dec. 3 against UConn as part of a career-best four-point night and one of just three hat tricks by a Hockey East rookie this season. He has 10 multi-point games, five multi-goal games and three multi-assist games. The Black Bears are 10-1-0 when he scores a goal and 18-4-1 when he has at least one point.

In addition to two weekly honors from the league (one Rookie of the Week and one Player of the Week), Nadeau was named the Hockey East Rookie of the Month for December.

Additionally, the league announced that Maine was named the runner-up for the Charlie Holt Team Sportsmanship Award.
