Waterville, ME - The University of Maine men's swim and dive team holds onto fourth place halfway through competition in the Maine State Meet. Maine has 211 points.
In the 400 yard mixed medley relay, Kennady Hart, Hannah Deighan,
Nate Teerlinck and
Cam Watelet finished in first place with a time of 3:35.78. That time was named the new pool record and the new meet record for the event.
Cam Watelet, Julian Lapietra,
Finn Devers and
Max Ginsburg finished in a tie for third place in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:23.01.
Kaden Kilger finished in third place during the 500 yard freestyle event with a time of 4:45.54.
Joey Stauss finished the 50 yard butterfly with a time of 22.67 which was good for fourth place.
Nate Teerlinck finished in second place with a time of 25.82 in the 50 yard breaststroke.
Finn Devers took home fifth place in the 200 yard IM with a time of 1:54.63.
Cam Watelet took home second in the 50 yard backstroke with a time of 22.81.
Day two of the event starts Saturday Dec 7 at 10am.
