Men's Swm wins 200-yard medley relay on day one of URI Invitational

KINGSTON, R.I. -- The University of Maine men's swim team took gold in the 200-yard medley relay to kickoff the Harold Anderson Invitatonal on Thursday evening at the University of Rhode Island.

After one day of competition, the Black Bears stand in second place with 116 points.

Cam Watelet, Nate Teerlinck, Joey Stauss, and Julian LaPietra combined to take gold in the 200-yard medley relay with a winning time of 1:32.29.

Maine's 800-yard freestyle relay team of Noah Machristie, Finn Devers, Kaden Kilger, and Stauss finished fifth in the event at 6:56.46.
