Preview: Women's Ice Hockey Travels to UNH for Border Battle Series

ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team is set to travel to the University of New Hampshire for the Border Battle series on Jan 26/27 at the Whittemore Center.

Previous Matchup Facts: 

  • The Black Bears and Wildcats have played one time already this season with UNH stealing game one of the series, 3-2 when they traveled to Orono, Maine.
  • Maine led the 2022-23 series winning two of three games.

Notes on the (RV) Black Bears:

  • Maine most recently lost to #11 UConn 1-3, and tied Merrimack College 3-3 over the past weekend. Merrimack picked up the shootout win, as Maine earned one point on the weekend.

  • Freshman Sedona Blair will likely be between the pipes as she's played in 24 games this season.
